An eighty-line extract from A Doll’s House tells: hidden under normalized gender inequality is an urge to gain power through manipulating others. The perpetual existence of manipulation surpasses gender.

Brecht and his technique tell: “Art is not a mirror held up to reality, but a hammer with which to shape it. Its relevance to its contemporary society is significant.”

We tell: In the modern workplace, male dominance and the pursuit of maximum profit by the powerful incurs manipulation and traps the manipulated and the oppressed. The resolution is to find the purpose of working instead of endlessly investing in maximizing productivity.
