Hi! My name is Cathy!
As an emerging theatre maker, I’ve always been wondering what the fuel for my creativity can be. Where do I start? Later, I found acting, designing, theatre making all originate from the point of actively listening and taking in my surroundings.
I am a story listener.
Listening to the stories of characters, people around me, people who I never met in my life, and stories of myself, I return from the depiction of past experience to the present moment. I found a tight connection between the two. There are issues unsolved and discoveries uncompleted. I need to address them and see how the segments of the past can be incorporate with this evolving present to raise awareness, find solutions, and make improvements.
